How to choose a parasailing trip

All three parasailing trips fly over the water off Waikiki and Honolulu, with views of Diamond Head and the city. They differ mostly in the height of the flight, the boat and the price, so compare the options on each listing:

  • Xtreme Parasail and Waikiki Parasail leave from Kewalo Basin near Ala Moana.
  • E-Sea Diver combines a parasail flight with a boat trip off Waikiki.

You take off and land on the boat deck, and you can fly solo or in tandem. Riders who are not flying can often ride along on the boat for a small fee. Read our Waikiki parasailing guide, or find more ocean activities.

Frequently asked questions

Do I get wet when parasailing?

Usually not. You launch and land on the boat deck, although some captains offer an optional dip on request.

Can two or three people fly together?

Yes, tandem and triple flights are common, depending on combined weight and conditions on the day.

Is parasailing safe for kids?

Many operators allow children with an adult in a tandem flight. Check each trip’s age and weight rules.

What if it’s too windy?

Parasailing depends on the wind and sea conditions. If the operator cancels, you can rebook or get a refund under its policy.
