Weather Variability:

• The weather can change quickly, especially at higher elevations. Bring layers, including a rain jacket, as it can get cool and wet

• Sturdy footwear recommended. Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on uneven and potentially sharp volcanic terrain. Flip-flops or sandals aren’t recommended

Volcanic Hazards:

• The park is an active volcanic area; be aware of potential hazards like volcanic gases, which can be harmful, especially for those with respiratory issues

• Follow all safety guidelines and stay on marked trails

Airline Policy:

• Tours that involve inter-island flights are required by Federal law to provide the Transportation Security Administration with the full names, date of birth, and gender of all passengers

• U.S. citizens must present a current government-issued pictured ID, and international visitors are required to have a valid passport

• Incorrect spelling of names, missing middle names or initials, and wrong birthdates could result in additional airline change fees and/or denied boarding

• Regrettably, we are unable to refund any portion of the tour due to non-compliance with these federal regulations
