A visit to the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor offers a deeply moving experience that transports you back to one of the most pivotal moments in American history.

• Pearl Harbor Visitor Center: Begin your journey with engaging exhibits and a powerful documentary recounting the dramatic events of December 7, 1941.

• Boat Ride: Embark on a serene boat ride across the harbor, operated by the U.S. Navy, as you approach the solemn white structure of the USS Arizona Memorial.

• USS Arizona Memorial: Stand above the sunken remains of the battleship and gaze into the depths, where the ship’s outline is visible just below the surface. Witness the poignant sight of oil droplets—“The Tears of the Arizona”—still rising from the wreckage.

• Remembrance: Pay tribute to the 1,177 sailors and Marines whose names are etched into the wall of remembrance.

Your experience continues with a scenic drive-by tour of Honolulu’s Historic Sites:

• Punchbowl National Cemetery

• Iolani Palace

• King Kamehameha Statue

• Kawaiaha’o Church

Times (Offered Twice Daily):

• Pick-up: 6:00am – 7:00am

• Return: 11:30am (first tour)

• Tour finishes at 1:15pm (second tour)

Tickets to Tour Attractions

• No need to purchase tickets separately—all entry fees are included.

• Guide provides tickets on the morning of the tour.

• Sites may close due to stormy weather.

Conduct and Dress Code

• Pearl Harbor is a solemn memorial—appropriate dress and behavior are required.

• No smoking on visitor center grounds or at the memorial.

• Comfortable shoes recommended; expect extended walking/standing.

• Swimwear is not allowed.

Self-Guided

• Pearl Harbor is a self-guided military site with park rangers available for assistance.

• Your guide will inform you when to meet for the next part of the tour.

Bag Policy

• No purses or bags allowed inside Pearl Harbor.

• Storage available: $7 per bag.

• Clear plastic bags permitted.

• Medical equipment bags are allowed.

• Bring snacks/water in easily carried containers.
