Shallow Water Dolphin Encounter – Sea Life Park, Oahu

Step into the Dolphin Lagoon for an unforgettable waist-deep encounter with a playful family of bottlenose dolphins. Guided by our experienced animal care team, you’ll learn about dolphin behavior, daily care, and enrichment programs that keep the dolphins happy and healthy.

This interactive experience allows participants to observe and connect with these amazing marine mammals in a fun, educational, and family-friendly setting. Life vests are provided, and the program is open to ages 4 and up.

• 11:00 AM

• Duration: 30-minute dolphin encounter + full day at the park + 1 photo

• Check-in: 1 hour prior for briefing

Restrictions

• Children ages 8–12 must be accompanied in the water by a paying adult (18+)

What to Bring

• Towel and proper swimwear

• Reef-safe sunscreen (Zinc oxide or Titanium dioxide only)

• Optional: camera

Arrival & Check-In

• Arrive 1 hour prior for safety briefing

• Digital waiver should be signed before arrival to expedite check-in

Jewelry & Personal Items Policy

• Remove all jewelry before entering the water (exceptions for wedding rings or nose piercings possible)

• Toe rings must be removed

• Secure valuables in hotel safes or rental lockers

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk on uneven/sloped surfaces

• Enter/exit water via stairs independently

• Contact Sea Life Park for special needs or accommodations

Safety & Health Guidelines

• Expectant mothers should avoid in-water activities

• Participants must wear life vests (provided)

• Shower rinse, changing areas, and lockers available ($6 rental)

• Follow all animal encounter instructions for safety and animal welfare
