Deep-Water Dolphin Encounter – Sea Life Park, Oahu

Get ready for the experience of a lifetime as you swim nose-to-nose with our family of bottlenose dolphins! Guided by our team of animal care experts, this interactive deep-water encounter lets you participate in enrichment activities while learning about dolphin behavior, daily care, and their natural environment.

All encounter programs include one-day admission to Sea Life Park. Life vests are provided, and the program is open to participants ages 8 and up.

• Time: 11:00 AM

• Duration: 30-minute encounter + full day at the park + 1 photo

• Check-in: 1 hour prior for briefing

Restrictions

• Children ages 8–12 must be accompanied in the water by a paying adult (18+)

• No-shows charged in full

Know Before You Go

• Arrive 1 hour prior for safety briefing

• Remove all jewelry for the safety of the animals

• Bring towels and proper swimwear

• Wear biodegradable, reef-safe sunscreen (Zinc oxide or Titanium dioxide only)

• Life vests will be provided and are required during the encounter

Jewelry & Personal Items Policy

• Remove jewelry that can be removed; exceptions may be made (e.g., wedding rings, nose piercings)

• Toe rings must be removed

• Secure valuables in hotel safes or rental lockers

• Prescription eyewear allowed if secured with a lanyard

• Hats must fit snugly; hair should be tied back

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk on uneven or sloped surfaces

• Enter/exit water via stairs independently

• Contact Sea Life Park in advance for special needs accommodations

• Outdoor rinse showers, changing stalls, and restrooms

• Locker rentals available ($6)

• Family-friendly attire required after water activities (cover-ups, shirts, swim bottoms fully covered)

• Motion sickness medication is recommended if needed
