At sunset, Oahu’s North Shore becomes magical, with colorful skies and billowing clouds that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a painting. This special time turns into an unforgettable experience when you witness it from horseback, traveling through quiet forests and beautiful mountain trails. That’s not to mention that at sunset everything cools down and all the birds start to sing. Trust us, it’s the best time of day to ride.

On the trail, you might see grazing cattle, native fruit trees, and even wild pigs. You’ll also have sneak peeks of the ocean below, leading up to the best part—a thrilling panoramic view from our scenic lookout. You’ll remember it for years to come.

• February – March: 5:00pm

• April – August: 5:30pm

• September – January: 4:30pm

Please check in 30 minutes before your ride’s start time.
Each rider must attend a 15-minute safety briefing prior to riding.

Guidelines

• Arriving late for your tour will affect your tour length

• Max weight 235lb – Strictly Enforced

• Must be 7 years old or older

• No expecting mothers

• Long pants

• Covered shoes

• Sunscreen

• Sunglasses

• Light jacket (if it’s chilly)

• Backpacks and big bags are not allowed on tours

• No refunds will be issued if guests do not meet the requirements to participate

• This activity is not recommended for guests with knee, hip, and back problems

• If guests are physically unable to participate in this ride, no refunds will be issued

• All tours must end at the scheduled time

Hawaii Tickets For Less Cancelation Policy

• A 24 hours notice is required for a refund

• Only exception is a note from a local doctor

• “No-shows” will be charged full

• Gunstock Ranch is closed on Sundays

  • Cancellations for Monday tours need to be done via email

• Tour rain or shine

  • If Gun Stock Ranch cancels a tour due to unsafe conditions, a full refund will be issued

• If a customer cancels due to weather, the typical cancelation policy applies

• Two rider minimum

  • If this minimum is not met, you will be contacted to reschedule
