Island Divers - Oahu 2 Tank Shallow Reef Dives Oahu Scuba Diving: We do not have a set schedule and like to change up the dive sites often. We love scuba diving in Oahu! We can promise you this though: we’ll go to the best dive sites that day based on the diving conditions and taking into account all the dive sites requests that we get. We truly do want you to have the best diving day possible. At the boat dock, the captain will give a boat safety briefing. The Divemaster will give a thorough dive site and safety briefing on the way to the dive site. He or she will also be on hand underwater to point out interesting dive site features and as an extra safety precaution. Certified divers however, are ultimately responsible for their own safety. After the dives the Divemaster/Instructor will help fill out and stamp logbooks. The Intro Dive: The Discover scuba diving course is designed to do exactly what its name states. Discover the wonderful world of SCUBA without having to complete the open water course. You will meet your instructor at Island Divers shop, at 10:00 am. From here you will head to our pool and learn about the equipment, you will be going over some skills in the pool to allow you to be comfortable. With no more than 4 people per instructor for your boat dives we can make sure everyone is safe while you are experiencing scuba diving. You will feel very confident when entering the ocean for your first underwater experience with one of the best Hawaii dive shops! If you love Scuba diving as much as we do, you can apply the skills you learn in this course towards your Open Water Certification*. For the certified diver who has not been diving in quite some time this is a great option to refresh your skills. Available Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day Times: Check in at 9:30am. Departs at 10:00am Intro & Refresher Dives Times: Check in at 10:00am. Duration: 5.5 hours Intro Dive Schedule: 10:00am arrive at Island Divers 3 12:30pm to 1:00pm, depart on a 2-tank boat trip 4:00pm to 5:00pm, return to the shop. Meet at Island Divers Dive Shop GPS: 377 Keahole St Suite E-101, Hawaii Kai, Hawaii, 96825 In Hawaii Kai Shopping Center next to L&L's Island Divers does not offer transportation. Public Transportation is available with Uber or Lyft. There is a fee to use any of them. Restrictions: Dive Card Required - Except for Intro Dives Must be 10 years old to SCUBA dive. Hawaii Tickets For Less Cancelation Policy: A 72 hours notice is required for a refund. Only exception is a note from a local doctor. No-shows" will be charged full. What's Included: Equipment rental. Drinks & light snacks Additional Information: Drinks and light snacks will be present on the boat, especially water. Disposable/Reusable flash underwater cameras are available upon request in the shop. We suggest you wear sunscreen and you may want bring a towel. If you chill easily, a windbreaker or extra shirt between dives is a good thing to bring. If you are prone to motion sickness, we suggest taking an anti nausea medication like Dramamine before your charter leaves the dock. Don't forget to fill out your medical waiver before arriving at the dock. All gear will be brought out to the boat for you, including wetsuits.
